  1. STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Posted by Unknown on Apr 13th 2017

This is a move in the right direction to getting back to solid, supportive shoes necessary for impact, however, I find these shoes to be somewhat "heavy". My favorite impact studio shoe is the 1384 style because it provides the support, plus it is lightweight. I still have a couple of pair because I bought every one I could find online. Now it is no longer available. Also, please note that black studio shoes have ALWAYS out-sold any other color. Please bring back lightweight, supportive, impact workout shoes in black.

  2. One of the very best dependable, sturdy, safe shoe designs AVIA has created/brought back

Posted by Diane Hutchison on Jan 11th 2017

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shoe! When the design first appeared several years ago, it incorporated the best features necessary for a mid-high studio shoe. The dependable lateral support, cushioning, comfort, weight, sturdiness, safety are perfect for the high impact aerobics that I have depended on in AVIA shoes for 38 years. I would have preferred leather instead of the plastic "straps," but sturdy support is key. Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing these shoes back.

  3. Good Move Back to Lightweight Performance & Comfort

This is one of the better Avia shoes of the last couple of years. Lightweight and pretty comfortable. Very good studio performer. A little bit over-plasticized, but still a good look.
